Owner, Listing and Buyer Specialist
License #9552249 · NMLS #2118149 · eXp Realty
I am the founder and CEO of Chalker Properties, L.L.C. I have been a licensed Realtor since 2015 and in the real estate industry since 1999, when I started flipping houses.
I came to this from education, and it turned out to be the better fit. What I like is the relationship rather than the transaction, which is why most of my business arrives as a referral from somebody I have already worked with. Selling is stressful, so I give every seller three pricing strategies rather than one number and a shrug, and the decision stays theirs.
That approach has produced some results I am proud of. One listing drew close to thirty offers. Another sold for $90,000 above the original list price. Those are the high end rather than the average, and I would rather tell you that than let you assume otherwise, but they show what happens when a house is presented properly and marketed to more than the MLS.
I am a Master Certified Negotiation Expert, a Divorce Real Estate Professional, an American Warrior Real Estate Professional, and a licensed mortgage lender, which means I understand the financing side from the inside even though your loan stays with your lender while I am your agent. Roughly 200 closings, 23 in the last twelve months, and the Realtor 500 from the Utah Association of Realtors.
I am a former host of The American Dream, a national lifestyle and real estate show, which is how the network logos ended up on this page. The show is carried on Prime Video, Roku, Apple TV, Tubi, Fire TV, YouTube, CNBC and Bloomberg Television. I have been a guest on a number of podcasts as well, including Unbreakable Mompreneurs.
My clients call me their resource for life, and they mean it literally. I get calls about mechanics, attorneys and contractors years after the sale closed, and I like that.
Before real estate I taught college at 22 and was a Dean and then a Director by 30. I helped open two colleges in Davis and Utah counties and opened one in Salt Lake County on my own. Over five thousand five hundred Wasatch Front students finished their diplomas and degrees on my watch. I worked on nursing and veterinary technician accreditation, added bachelor programmes to a diploma school, and more than doubled enrolment. Negotiating, reading people, and keeping somebody steady through a stressful process are not skills I picked up in real estate. I brought them with me.
I have lived in Utah for thirty years and in Salt Lake County for most of them. I am a wife and a mother to six, and outside work you will find me with my family, travelling, at something sporting or musical, or volunteering.
My clients hear me say I F.E.N.D. for them. Fight, Educate, Negotiate, and Drive Solutions. Your net is the number that matters to me, not the one on the sign.
